Stone Manor has a history of making custom crafted soaps and wants to share our knowledge with you. Every 2nd Saturday of the month we will teach the basics of how to design and produce soaps that will be matched to your skin type and desired aroma. It’s fun and you end up with something that brings a little luxury to your next relaxing bath…

Stone Manor will be conducting a Scone Making Class the last Saturday of each month.
Learn the proper way to create an authentic scone from world renowned chef Spencer Ault (well maybe not world renowned yet but he “ault” to be!)

Stone Manor Review
If you remember, last year we experimented with making a peach liquor and then adding it to some yummy cognac a few months later. We also experimented with making peach pies – some creamy with coconut and peaches, and then there was the one with peaches, cream and vanilla, also peaches and dried blueberries. When we get tired of pies, there was a brainstorming session last winter where there was the thought of trying peaches and Cherry Hill’s goat ricotta to make pastries.
We will of course beg Spencer to make peach cobbler (my favorite). This will probably set the stage for a little quid pro quo in making Spencer’s favorites from the peach season which means frozen drinks as well as a peach juice marinade with ginger and dill for salmon… We just need imagination and room in the tummy!
Late August is Pear Season at Stone Manor!
Early August at Stone Manor means fresh blueberry picking! Spencer once again will take a daily vote from us on whether the morning baking should include blueberry: cobblers, muffins, crumb-cake muffins, scones, pie or cake. He may introduce some new recipes this year for you to choose from.
Beth is taking a daily vote from our guests on whether to make blueberry liquor, tea, wine, or jelly.
These are hard choices, but someone has to make them!
As our past guests remember, mid July at Stone Manor means fresh Raspberry picking! Spencer is taking a daily vote from our guests on whether the morning baking should include raspberry: cobblers, muffins, crumb-cake muffins, scones, pie or cake!
Beth is taking a daily vote from our guests on whether to make raspberry liquor, wine, jam or our raspberry balsamic vinegar.
Come join us in the picking and playing in the kitchen.
