We’re finally settling down from all the wedding chaos… just in time for the holidays, right! We wanted you both to know how much we truly appreciated all that you did for us for the wedding weekend. The B&B was beautiful and you both were so hospitable. Our families were completely taken with the place and it made things so enjoyable for Ben and me. Beth, you really put me at ease even when things got stressful on Saturday (I’m sure you could see how worked up I got). If you weren’t there to help out I don’t think I would’ve recovered and been able to enjoy myself. Looking back on everything, it really was one of the best weekends of my life – although I didn’t necessarily realize it at the time. We had so many people tell us that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and I think they really meant it. Thank you so much for making that possible.

Thank you SO MUCH for taking such great care of me & Jackie during our DC to PA bike ride. Of course, The Stone Manor was our favorite overnight stop, and we’ve been telling everyone how great you two are! I hope to come out for a longer, more relaxed stay with my husband next time!

Almost two months have passed since my girlfriend, Pam and I stayed with you, but we still think of your kindness. We often recall your gracious and sincere hospitality. We thank you for making our short get-away a special and memorable retreat. Both of you treated us as very important guests, yet we felt as if we were staying with our new-found family.
I believe you guided Pam in after a long drive, mellowed her with merlot, pampered her with pasta and comforted her with your company. Thankfully, you both insisted on picking me and my bicycle up at the train station so that I could join the memory. Truly, we are thankful.

Only by the grace of God could we have been guided to Stone Manor. The pictures – though beautiful – can not possibly do this Virginia Manor house and gardens justice. I still dream of the food! You were right about the food coma from that five course breakfast! Karen said to thank you for the bath salts you designed for her. They completely healed her psoriasis and made her skin feel wonderful! You were right about the dead sea salt and magnesium sulfate mixture!
Thank you for teaching us about Sustainable Agriculture and companion planting. Thank you for showing us that simple animals like chickens can cuddle and give love. I never even imagined chickens who answer to their names and run into your laps for cuddling! The night we spent strolling through your gardens, eating dinner in the twilight in the terraced rock gardens and watching the stars come out (while cuddling a chicken!) was truly a life experience for this city boy.
Next time we come, Karen wants to try the Manor Suite! She loved the Turret Suite with the ten-spray shower for two but has been dreaming about that sumptuous hand-carved canopy bed!

Dear Beth and Spencer,
I would like to thank you for all you did in making Aimee’s birthday weekend so special, it is truly a memory that we shall cherish always.
The love and care that you show to your guests make a stay in your beautiful home more like visiting loving family than visiting a B&B.
Your attention to even the smallest of details all goes towards making a stay with you a real ‘life experience’.
I have already recommended a visit to Stone Manor for several friends, and Aimee and I will return.

Stone Manor is a vibrant and warm bed and breakfast, that balances beautiful classic decor with modern colours and amenities such as cable tv and jacuzzi tub. We deeply enjoyed the creative food pairings and interesting ingredients in the breakfasts prepared by Spencer and Beth before we hit the trail for some fantastic wine tasting.
Our only regret is that we could not stay longer, but we will be back!

Dear Spencer & Beth,
Stone Manor is breath taking! The food was fantastic! But the true beauty lies not in the manor and not in the food. The real beauty lies in you. Your genuine kindness, generosity and going above and beyond the call of duty truly sets the bed and breakfast apart! Our 24th wedding anniversary will always be memorable and special.
I recommend it to everyone who will listen! We hope to be back soon!

Beth and Spencer were the most gracious hosts and created an elopement package for us that exceeded all expectations!Our family is still talking about the outstanding meal you put on for us. Dear Beth and Spencer,
This was our first time at a B&B, and you really spoiled us. We couldn’t have had a more relaxing and enjoyable stay. We felt right at home in the comfortable surroundings, and the food was excellent. We are looking forward to coming back next year!

Beth and Spenser do a great job. The breakfasts are awesome-6 courses and the best anywhere. They made you feel so welcome and the rooms were gorgeous, clean and tastefully done. Stone Manor is as good as it gets! Highly recommended. Go and treat yourself!

Beth & Spencer, Thank you so much for the wonderful and relaxing weekend we just enjoyed. Your home is amazing. It was great to see Felix feeding the chickens and getting to enjoy some wine and great conversation with the both of you. Your hospitality is unbeatable and something we will never forget. I would like to express my most sincere gratitude for making possible for us to stay at your beautiful home. Rob and I rarely have time for ourselves and you made our short get away the most enjoyable time we had in many years.
